The perfect weather conditions continued into the early evening hours this evening for the Knock-Down Pistol Matches. Turnout was decent with five shooters in the rimfire class and three shooters in the centerfire class.
Jim B. set the time to beat in the first relay of the rimfire class at 5.21 seconds, but he had to settle for second place overall after Fred M. turned in a 5.18 second run in the second relay and a smoking mid 4-second run in the fourth relay to take home the top honors. Hal D. rounded out the top three.
The centerfire class was cut short this evening after only two relays due to running out of pins. This might have been a good thing as all three shooters were experiencing difficulties of all types as evident in the video below. Adam W. took the podium with Fred M. in second and Pat K. in third.
